Hey! It's way too early in the morning, the first day of school, but I just can't sleep (I'm so used to sleeping from noon till about 5pm-ish, so my sleeping schedule is totally off), so I've decided to do an update.

Countdown Till System of a Down: 3 Weeks
Hey everybody! I decided to update because my other one is so old!
Anyways, I'm so excited! I GOT MY LICENSE!!!! I mean it's so cool! Now I can finally go places during the day! :) Sadly the car I have to use at the moment does not have air conditioning...but its a car! Anyways I might get a better one because the car I will be using is like an '82 (A 'classic' apparently) and in those days they didn't have air conditioning (crazy people), but because it's a "classic" we're probably gonna sell it or sell it to my brother for very cheap (which is a bad option in my opinion). It's a pretty nice car too because it only has 70,000 miles on it! But yea, so I have my license! That's my exciting news, as well as...
HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE IS COMING OUT ON SATURDAY!!!!! I am sooooooooo excited for that! Plus I pre-ordered it so it should come on saturday. In preparation for this great day that I've been waiting for since last year when the 5th book was released, I've rewatched the first three movies and today and tomorrow I'm rereading the 4th and 5th books! (I like the first three alot, but I didn't feel like rereading the first and second and I don't feel like rereading the third right after watching the movie- I've read it more than any of the others (at least 20 times) and I can already point out all the differences. :) Though I dislike how the third movie didn't follow the book very well, I do still think its a good movie in general.) But yes, so that is really exciting.
In other news, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY comes out tomorrow!! I might go see it with one of my friends! Though I'm not positive about that yet, but I hope to. So I guess we'll see if its good. I usually like Johnny Depp movies and most Tim Burton movies, so I'm hoping it won't be horrible.
Another really exciting event is that I'M GOING TO GO SEE SYSTEM OF A DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY FOR SOAD!! They are coming here in awhile, but I already bought floor tickets!! Haha, hopefully I don't get crushed in the mosh pit, that would suck, but if other people can handle it then so can I! :)
I also convinced my mother to buy me the second and third season of Alias! I can't wait till the fourth comes out and I also want the first! And the new season starts very soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Sadly it accompanies school, but what can you do?). Anyways, I also have become obsessed with Smallville! It is such a great show! I love it!
Hmmm...I guess that is most of my news....in the bad news category I will not be going to see Static-X with American Head Charge on the 23rd because nobody wanted to come with me! Well, the people I usually go to concerts with don't like them and the other people I know that like those bands are already going with someone else! So if anybody wants to come see them with me (at First Ave. on July 23rd) let me know and maybe we can still go together then! Anyways, I'll ttyl!
Laters Mes Amies! :)
Hey!
First of all...
Happy Birthday Kari! I'm so sorry I couldn't go to your party b/c I had already made plans to go somewhere else, otherwise I would've went, but I hope you had an amazing bday (though I don't think you'll see this b/c it seems you don't have a blog anymore...but if you do, Happy 16th Birthday!!!)
Okay, now for what I've been up to all week. School, which sucks, but on Friday our school had Pepfest at the end of the day, so I got to leave early ;) I'm surprised, the Hall Monitors don't even try and stop you, its crazy. Though I feel like I should've went and played in the band since I've been like skipping all my lessons and such, though Mr. Tank, the band director, can't say anything because I'm not in band anymore, so thats good. :)
So anyways, on Saturday I went to the Mindless Self Indulgence concert!!! I had been planning to go a few months back so I was so excited! I went with a couple of ppl and it was really cool. SMB opened, with this guy called 'The Rainbow' or something before that (though he was more of a stand up comedic than a singer or anything). SMB was really good. The mosh pit was fucking crazy, I mean I tripped (mainly b/c my pants were way baggy), but they were really good live compared to their cd, which I bought there. (If you haven't heard them go to Http://www.myspace.com/SMB for some song downloads, that's how I first heard them before last night). Then we had to sit there, in the pit, waiting a half and hour for MSI to come out, though I did get to talk to some ppl by me. Once MSI came out though everyone went fucking crazy! Haha, so then I realized my pants were all tied up (they have ties at the bottom...hard to explain) so I had to get out and I quickly retied them above my shoes, which I should have done in the first place, but I obviously have issues, lol. So, then I went back in and got right by the rail, it was so cool b/c I got to watch Jimmy, who is like so attractive in person (though not as much so in pictures) go up on the speaker by me and take off his skirt, it was crazy but SO cute. I love him so much!!! Then Lyn Z, the guitarist, let this one girl and this guy she pulled up from the audience smash her guitar and the guy got to keep the handle (I'm so jealous!). I have never had so much sweat on me (most from other ppl...I know, ewww) in my life! Haha, but overall it was great, MSI is so fucking crazy and amazing live, if you like them, their concerts are worth it. Anyways, after I got home I watched the Inuyasha movie (I'm an anime freak ;) so I loved it), so saturday was pretty amazing.
Today sadly is my homework day, which thus far I've been avoiding. Haha, so I'm off, though most likely to watch Alias or IY or something else, who knows ;).
